Basseterre, St. Kitts – On Thursday, April 25, 2024, the Department of ICT in the Ministry of Information, Communication, Technology, and Post joined scores of patrons and participants in Needsmust, St. Kitts, for the Ministry of Agriculture’s Open Day. This year, the ICT Department’s presence at the Open Day coincided with the annual observance of Girls in ICT Day.
Eurta Chiverton, Systems Coordinator at the Department of ICT, spoke with the communications team from the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities and Domestic Transport about the ICT Department’s observance of Girls in ICT Day and its presence at the Open Day.
The International Telecommunications Union conceptualized Girls in ICT Day which is recognized annually.
